I know my ECs sucks...but i am just a guy who is crazy over natural science and engineering. And I really spent a lot of time learning in order to earn better grades. In fact i haven been the NO.1 in our school for many times.

Forgive me for my POOR/DISGUSTING/AWKWARD ECs, but i just want to apply to those investigating universities...

What are my chances?i apply for the engineering department of:
1. SWARTHMORE ED
2. U PENN
3. CORNELL
4. UCB
5. UCLA
6. CMU
7. U MICHIGAN ANN
8. PRINCETON
9. MIT
(I KNOW THE LAST TWO ARE IMPOSSIBLE..)

I don't know why you are applying to swarthmore ED considering the rest of your list. You'll probably get into the state schools. Maybe at cornell and CMU. UPenn, Princeton, and MIT are unlikely because you lack ECs.

^^^not true, ppl in this forum often exaggerate the weight of ECs in admissions. EC's make u stand out from the rest of the applicants, but they don't decide whether u're in or out...

i say u have a good chance, but those ivies are all reaches 4 u.

I can list many out..
But none of them has any weight... THEY ARE JUST SMALL THINGS
SIGH...

Thx!
U really give some confidence.

Will i be admitted if i apply for UWM??
