Hi everyone, I finally completed my application and sent it in today! I'm so glad to finally be done with the application process for U of M! Was wondering how all of you felt about the application? worried about it, confident, excited to find out the decisions? Anyways, good luck to all of the other Wolverine hopefuls out there!

i’m so excited to get my decision! I finished my app a few weeks ago and I’ve been worrying ever since, even though they’re not supposed to come out till December. Now we just have to wait. Good luck!

Also prep for the likely situation where you get deferred and have to wait until the spring to find out. Over that time your anxiousness will turn to anger and soon you’ll be on here every day posting about how bad the umich admissions department is and say why other school’s do it better. Then if you finally don’t get in after all of that wait, you’ll say there is no rhyme or reason to the admissions standards, its just a crap shoot. Then, having to commit to your second choice, you’ll begin to rationalize why that school is actually better even though you know that in the back of your mind it could never beat Michigan.

Just saying.

Lol, Purpleduckman just about described that perfectly. You do need to be mentally prepared for waiting until April or possibly getting waitlisted and ultimately rejected. It’s exciting right now but this feeling turns to anxiousness pretty quickly. For those that really care, possibly in about two weeks. I’ve seen it quite a few times, the people who have Michigan as their dream school and don’t get admitted in the first wave will have a real rough time.

I’ve been done with my application for about 2 months. I was pretty confident about it until I found out my counselor never sent my school report that she’s had in her hands since August! If I’m considered for early action (I’ve done everything else), I’m eager to get my decision!

I finished Sunday. This was my first major app. I turned in MSU and U of M- Dearborn, but those were pretty easy. So this one was more stressful. I’m happy though to be done with it. It’s not my first choice, but it’s an awesome school and I would be really pleased to get in! :)
