GLBT at Vassar

Hi,

I'm a high school male looking for good liberal arts schools and colleges that are GLBT-friendly. I'm a little concerned over Vassar's male to female disparity. I'm a little concerned that, although Vassar's purportedly very open and accepting, that too small a school with too few males will leave me with too few options...Anyone at Vassar have any thoughts? Thanks!

Try Yale, Oberlin, Wesleyan, Bard, or Swarthmore. All gay-friendly colleges.

Thanks for the tip, but does your answer imply that Vassar's the wrong place to be looking for a gay-friendly student body?

Trust me...vassar is EXTREMELY gay friendly...ppl who can't stand our extreme openness should re-consider about applying here

Greeneyes, no, not at all! Vassar is way gay friendly. I was just suggesting more places.

Thanks for the response! But do you think "The Ratio" would hurt a gay guy's chances of getting a date on campus? Vassar seems great, but I'm afraid the relative isolation and the infamous ratio will put a crimp on my opportunities. Any reassurances? Thanks again!
