Hi guys, I’m currently a US high school junior trying to decide where I want to study for university (undergrad of course). I’m hoping to study International Business and Japanese, and while some of my choice schools are US and UK schools, I am also considering Japan schools (University of Tokyo PEAK especially has me interested!)
I’d like to know if anyone here has experience/knowledge with the Global 30 university programs in Japan, particularly:
- How is the quality of English education provided at these schools? (Are classes taught by native speakers or close?)
- How a degree at these schools will be recognized back in the West (for example, if I want to get my Masters in the US or UK)
- How a degree from these schools will be recognized in Japan or East Asia in general, especially since the program is fairly new
And any other information you can tell me about these schools would help A LOT.
I spent my sophomore year on a study abroad program in Japan and will have studied Japanese for 4 years by the time I graduate, so issues like culture shock, going to school abroad and language barriers aren’t too much of a concern for me!
Thank you~
