Global Development Studies at UVA

<p>Anyone knows anything about the quality of the Global Development Studies department at UVA? As I understand it, it's a pretty new department and I can't find any information from UVA students themselves about it.
Also, how is Global Development different from International Relations if at all. William and Mary has an International Relations degree - anyone knows anyone about that department and even better how does it compare to that of UVA?</p>

<p>You might also be interested in the Foreign Affairs major and the majors that are related to Political Science (there are a couple). The first department in this list includes the Foreign Affairs program.</p>
