Hey,

I was just interested in some current USC students' feedback on the Global Leadership Program at the Marshall School of Business. How is it? What is it like? Are there any additional courses I would have to take if I join? Overall, do the students enjoy it, and would it be recommended?

Thanks for any help.

I'm actually very interested in that too.

If you decide to do GLP, it would be an extra 2 unit seminar on Fridays from 10-12. During the first semester you'll have speakers come talk to you, most of them USC alum, and all from high positions within their respective industry. They basically just tell you about their life and you get to ask questions. It's a Pass/No Pass class so not too much to worry about. I think it's a really great opportunity to learn about other industries etc. and more importantly learn from their successes (and failures). The second semester was something new for this year and it had a focus on China. Different specialists (reporters, consultants, economists etc) who had extensive knowledge came to talk about China (growth, expansion, political, economic, environmental concerns). The second semester seminar included a trip to Shanghai during Spring Break (cost about $1600 but they had money available for scholarships). So overall, enjoyed by all 61 of us who came back from China last Sunday and highly recommended as a great way to excel your learning curve of the business world and meet fellow business classmates. I don't want to give too much away, but I hope you do join because it really is a lot of fun (although it might be a little harder getting to class on time after a night of partying)
