I am interested in applying to the Global Management Program (GMP) program, but I realize that it is very selective.
Instead of applying to L&S under “Intending a major in Business Administration in the Haas School of Business”, I will need to switch it to “Global Management Program (Haas School of Business)” within L&S.
If I am not admitted to the program, will I still be considered for admission to Berkeley? I understand that incoming freshmen are admitted to L&S undeclared, but does denial from GMP lead to an outright rejection from L&S?
For instance, students not accepted to the MET program are still considered for their engineering program, and I was wondering whether L&S and GMP had a similar system in place.
Thanks!
