Has anyone participated in it?

I was accepted in to the program for this fall and am beginning to have seconds thoughts. Does anyone know if it is worth it or just a joke? And how much of a time commitment is it when you already have a full schedule?

sarab91 during my undergrad years at Umich I participated in the the Global Scholars program and it was a fascinating experience. This scholarly community copes with ameliorating global/world issues, creating an atmosphere for students where their voice/opinions can be heard; in correspondence to problems that arise everyday even non-globally so to speak. Then students who are in this program normally reside in North Quad as that’s where the program is held and live on the 4th floor which belongs to the Gobal Scholars students. Finally, the requirements for the GSP program are simplistic because you only need to take one global comprehension course(which can be chosen from 5-6 classes), collaborate in group discussions held after each monthly lecture series; partake in a Collaborative Group Project at the end illustrating your understanding of the program and how this is beneficial to students and what postive outcomes can appear as a result. Below is a website that will provide you with further insight into this magnificent program, and best of luck to you with your your decision. Moreover, as witnessed juggling a full-time schedule while engaging in this program concurrently isn’t difficult and plus if you miss a monthly lecture you can watch a podcast of it online as long as you inform Jennifer (Director) beforehand respectfully.

Best Regards, Dave
