I was accepted to NYU's GLS program (global liberal studies). At first I was really excited, but as I've looked at it I've become more and more wary. How difficult would it be for me to transfer into say the college of arts and sciences? I want to study international relations and political science.

did you apply to GLS? if no, then you just need around a 3.6 to transfer to GLS. International Relations is an Honors program so its more difficult to get into than PoliSci.

if you applied for GLS, then I wonder why you’re starting to change your mind.

i believe it was a 3.65 they said.

international relations is very difficult to transfer into. Its not because you need a high GPA but there is a limited amount of seats. from what I remember, there is about 20 available spots every year give or take.
