I applied to notre dame and recently received a letter from the Glynn honors program. The letter was addressed to me and provided me information about the program and encouraged me to apply to notre dame, it was postmarked October 31 which was the day before the admissions people start looking at applications. I was wondering if everyone who expressed interest in notre dame receives this or if a select group do? Also is it a good sign that I may get accepted? Thanks

When did you submit your application?

October 22

Well, I sure didn’t get it, but I’m international. They may have read some parts of your app and decided that you could apply for that scholarship. Although this is probably not a “likely letter,” if it were to happen to me I would feel more confident about my chances.

Thanks I agree
I don’t think it’s like a for sure thing since I didn’t give me any information about how to apply. I was moe along the lines of wondering who all got it.

I think if you were on the prospective first year mailing list you got it. Not sure though
