Don't know which forum to put this in but wherever I post it I'm sure I'll get a lot of great feedback from you guys/gals.

Is there a general consensus on what someone will score on the GMAT based on their previous SAT scores?

interesting question... and I have no idea. I am interested in the answer though if anyone has one.

Just remember that each time you take another test like these, the pool that you are competing against is better and better.

GMAT is much harder. Subtract 50 from your SAT average.

Okay, but the GMAT isn't graded on the same scale. For example, the avg GMATS at one of the grad schools I want to get into (top-tier, top 5) is 647.

So I wondered if there was a "general" conversion factor?

1400 out of 1600 on Sat = 750 on GMAT (just an example, I have no clue).

o to the business school - MBA forum you'll probably find a thread like this there :D
