GMat during senior year

Is it wise to take the GMat my senior year? I know you only have 5 years before it expires, so how long, on average, do people usually work before going back to MBA programs? And will admissions view your score differently if you took the test 4 years ago as a punk kid as opposed to 4 months ago?

graciasssss

Admissions won't care about the timing. It is best to take it when you have time to study for it. You will probably have more time to study your sr year (or between graduation and full-time start date), so this is an excellent time to take it (plus u probably possess better study habits/skills than you will in the future).

Avg experience is 4 to 5 years post-grad although I suspect the median experience for US citizens is a bit less (ie 3.5 to 4.5). You may end up having to retake the test, but irregardless of that risk, it is still a good time to take it if you have the time to properly prepare for it.

Thank you Vector
