I scanned over the Kaplan and Princeton Review GMAT prep books and they looked very similar to the SAT tests. They spend too much time criticizing the testing industry and making the reading interesting. It's a fun read but whether it is really useful is another question. The Barron's book cuts a lot of the fun out and is rather blunt like the AP/SAT high school prep books it produces. However, I heard that the Barron's GMAT prep book isn't all that great. Can anyone tell me why? The difficulty didn't look all that different when I compared the practice tests.
