GMU or JMU for Comp. Sci. or Engineering

So I've been trying to decide between GMU and JMU for a while and I've come across a lot of mixed opinions in my research. Which do you think is a better school both in general and with regards to their engineering and comp sci programs? I recently visited JMU and found out that they don't offer specific engineering degrees like "Chemical" or "mechanical", they only have a "general engineering degree", will this hurt my chances at getting a job in the future as opposed to those with specialized degrees?

One thing I really like about Mason is it's proximity to DC and how that might help with internships/finding a job after college. The social scene doesn't matter at all to me, I don't really like parties and I've found that both schools have a lot of clubs that I would find interesting. Last, I do live really close to GMU, but that shouldn't be a problem because I'm planning to live in a dorm anyway.

I really would appreciate your input
