GMU vs VCU ..I need you help, there is no time

Here is the dilemma

I got accepted at both schools for the spring semester and I don't know what to choose

I want to go the GMU because it's close to DC, and because I want to leave Richmond

But again, It's hard to leave Richmond and start all over again in a new city

My goal is to go to law school or med school ( no not gmu law school! some more regarded law school)

I got accepted at VCU chemical engineering program and I applied for GMU chemistry program

My GPA is 4.00 you might wonder why the heck I didn't apply to UVA or Tech
oh well tech is so far away and I want to go to the north

and UVA requires my school to send my transcript and did I forget to mention that my country can't do that as it is in a war zone!

UOR is technically a private school and I can't pay for that!

Particularly I want to keep my GPA as high as possible
I am not a party girls, but I like to have some fun and activities, meet new people..
I love math and chemistry, but I like math more!
I don't want to deal with memorizing and I heard chemistry might require that

I went to both campuses
VCU was more appealing and exciting to me than GMU( what is wrong with them, it's so quite and empty!)
GMU felt so depressing to say the least
beside fairfax wasn't as exciting as Richmond even though that I live in the suburb!
I thought me and my family would live in Alaxandria as we love it so much and I would commute there every day
But the traffic is horrible

I need advice, I am really lost and confused, and I have to give them my decision by tomorrow!

I want you to give me the disadavantage and advantage of each school
what you suggest
the grading is really important for me, I heard VCU is tough in grading!
your own experiences

anything

I mean UVA wants my highschool transcripts to be send by my school

I don’t know either school well, but it seems to me that if your impression of GMU were to turn out to be true you would be miserable there. You might consider foregoing matriculation and looking for another school you could start in August.

This is good idea, especially now I learned that VCU is not giving me any financial award, they are wanting more documents! while gmu offered me awards with no delay!

The only problem is I have always taken more 60 credit at my community college!

They want 4 kind of documents which made me feel like they just want to hold on giving financial aid for students!

very few american colleges give international students any aid. i’m surprised GMU does. Most public colleges don’t.

No, I am a legal citizen, I’ve been living here for the more than 3 years. I had no problem receiving the aid at my community college. Now I am surprised why vcu is doing this.

Bump anyone

No one has any advice?
