I actually got rejected by Haas, but turned down UCSD, UCSB and Cal Poly Pomona</p>

Possible hook: Parent works at UCLA (the hospital)
Con: No work experience.</p>

rejected and will appeal: UCB (econ)
pending: G-town(MSB), Penn(CAS), NYU(Stern)</p>

<p>Accepted on thursday and I sent in my SIR on friday. WOOHOO! GO BRUINS! Man im still really excited. The only thing that sucks is that fall is so far away. </p>
<p>Accepted: UCLA, UCSD, UCR, UCSB, and Cal Poly Pomona. I should have tried my luck with UCB instead of UCR. Oh well....</p>
<p>Visited the campus once last year and fell in love. It is my 1st choice school and i hope i dont hate it when i get there.</p>

<p>Those who do not sacrifice UCB for UCLA can be said have nothing to lose accepting UCLA. I did sacrifice UCB for UCLA...Why??? Well, I love UCLA and do not care about the prestige</p>
<p>Hey.. haybaxt, I think i'm on your side...i'm almost about to submit my SIR but experience some problems with the financial aid so i'm in contact with the UCLA financial aid office... as long as it is fixed, I would probably sacrifice UCB and even USC for UCLA</p>
