wow you’re cool

yea…smoke green snort white

Wow…really?
I was at the game last night, and most of the UNC fans were pretty classy. I guess there’s always a couple of bad seeds.

he’s not really a unc fan, just anti-msu

he made a thread like this on the umich forum; he thinks that whenever state loses it’s good for u of m, regardless of who they’re playing. like somehow msu losing to unc would strengthen michigan’s superiority…?

Is he forgetting who the little brother is in basketball??? Since when does getting to the Final Four hurt recruiting?
There was a pretty obnoxious UofM fan sitting behind our student section last night. He kept yelling crap like “Go blue” whenever we had a Go Green/Go White cheer going, he thought he was hilarious. He shut up after everyone asked him where his team was.

Honestly? This thread is an embarassment. Even if you support U of M over MSU, what happened to state pride? Big Ten pride? Trash-talking a school’s team on their message board is a bit absurd and juvenile. And what was U of M’s record in basketball this year? What about football??? Bitterness is completely unneeded.

Most of the michigan fans I know are were for MSU in that game, it helps all the big ten teams when their conference makes a strong showing.
That said, MSU was not humiliated - they played a horrible first ten minutes and then got competitive, just didn’t have the talent to close a 20 point gap. UNC is the best team in the country by far and they played their A-game, the only way they could have lost was if they beat themselves. You’d have to be delusional to think that going to the national championship in Detroit could do anything to hurt State’s recruiting, and it wouldn’t matter anyways for a UMich fan - MSU will be a top-notch team again next year (I’d guess top 5-10 preseason) and won’t have any trouble against the Wolverines.

^ Same here. Every UMich fan I knew was rooting for State.
