Hi, everybody.
I get accepted by UCI and UCSB. But I consider to join army first to earn some funds, does anyone know that can I continue to go to these UCs after serving the military? Or, will I need to reapply for transfer as a cc student at that time?

Contact them or read FAQ’s online about deferring admission for each UC. Some allow it, some don’t.

Don’t do that its stupid. If you reallly want to join the military, just go to college and get into one of those rotc officer program thingys. They will pay for your loans, and joining as an officer has so much more perks than enlisting.

I second twistnswif. Just join ROTC. There are more/better opportunities that way. They’ll basically pay your tuition as long as you join the service for some years after you graduate. You may want to talk to current ROTC students.

There are better ways to get money for school. DONT DO IT.

If you must join the army, wait till you graduate.

I did six years in the Army Reserve. If money for college is the only reason you’re considering joining, don’t do it. If you really have the inner feeling of Country calling, then go for it.

ROTC is the best way.
