I have a question.
Let's say I applied to spring semester and fall semester at the same time to different colleges, then got accepted by both.
Can I go to college A for spring semester first, then go to college B for fall semester(and the rest of my college years)?

I don't know if this involved transfer?
I think not? Becuase I applied to both schools at the same time? And only attended college A for 1 semester(transfer usually is a 1 year thing, not half-year, right?).

Is it allowed?
I can't find the answer for this question anywhere.

Thanks. :)

Easily doable with two different open admission community colleges.

If you started college at College A then that is the college you have chosen to enroll in. If you want attend college B then that would be considered a transfer. I think you would have to reapply as a transfer.

And why would you want to do this? You would spend money on college A and not be sure all your credits would transfer to the other one. Wouldn’t this be a waste of money?

People transfer after 1 semester of college to another.

Becuase my SAT scores are not high enough for my dream schools. I was thinking about taking a gap year to work on my scores, but a year is too long, let’s why I’m thinking about spring semester.

No, your admission wouldn’t be valid any longer after you accept admission elsewhere.

But there might be a college that would allow you to take and transfer in a few community college credits but you would have to prearrange that.

If you enroll at a college A, you then have a college transcript. I believe, your HS scores and SAT would not matter. Your grades and GPA from college A would be used for college B.

You might also be giving up on merit or scholarship money if you received any from college A. Transfers usually do not get great packages.

This really isn’t true. The closer you are to HS the more that info matters. After two years of CC most colleges don’t care about HS info but some still do. After only a semester of college the HS record is still very important.
This is true.

^^^yeah, I questioned that myself if 1 semester of college would be enough to not use a HS transcript. But, now they would have two records to be looked at for admission. Thanks for the correction.
