<p>Hi, I'm a sophomore engineering student and I had a phone interview for an internship a few weeks ago and now they want to fly me down for an on-site interview in a few weeks. I was curious about what the standard protocol is for facial hair. I normally have a beard or goatee and when I'm clean shaven I look like i'm 15 as opposed to 20. Would it be okay to have a finely trimmed goatee for the interview or would it be better to just go clean shaven? Thanks.</p>
<p>There’s nothing wrong with well-groomed facial hair in the workplace, so there’s nothing wrong with it in an interview. Just be sure that it is actually well-groomed.</p>
