God damn it, high school needs to end!!

I'm only a junior and I'm sick and tired of high school. I wish it was only three years like middle school. I'm tired of the stupid essays about "themes" that we have to write about every damn book, the pointless math classes, the stupid kiss ass teacher pets, the little "gunners" who think they're going to Harvard, the stupid cookie cutter clubs (NHS anyone?), teachers who take forever to grade, broke ass school districts, lame ass pep rallies, incompetent counselors....damn I can go on and on. I really wish I was graduating in the next few weeks. I'm done with high school!

Get over it.

I love you.

a zit?!?!? and prom’s tomorrow!!

Drop out.

I agree with OP. Everyone else just haters.

Exactly how I feel.

I wish I was graduating early this year, I hate the boring useless essays, the suck-ups, the waste-of-time math classes, the stuck-up-cliquey-jerks-who-have-no-lives-without-drugs, the silly club-joiners (I purposely have not bothered with NHS because 90% of the people there are doing it for the resume booster), teachers who can’t weight grades properly because they don’t know math, school districts that can’t freaking BUY COMPETENT COMPUTERS (seriously, they give teachers old student-(ab)used laptops, the teachers complain, then they buy them new laptops with half the amount of RAM needed and then they downgrade the OS from Windows 7 to XP, and this is AFTER they switched the entire district from Macs to PCs), lame school spirit (every time our student council organizes a dance or other similar function, it fails because no one gives a crap), idiot counselors (I got lucky and have the smart one, the other counselors are new and spend more time on their outfits than helping people). Seriously, I’m so glad it’s not just my school that’s worthless.

Agreed.
I hate the stupid busy work that every damn teacher assigns (including AP teachers) and grades like it was the damn final. I hate the lack of actual teaching going on in every class except math (I got lucky). I hate the jerkwads who act like they’re fratboys, or gangster, or whatever-the-hell-else they do. I hate the teachers who love giving tests on stuff that was never covered in class. Ich ha

Overall, I liked high school :)

High school is probably the most important four years of your life. It sets the foundation for your future. Enjoy it.

For the record: this isn’t going to go away. You’re still going to deal with idiots - at college (students and faculty both), in the workplace (coworkers and maybe your superiors). There are going to be jerks, there will be superficial b***, there will be lack of funding to deal with at some point, your boss might be a d**.

I can go on. This kind of crap doesn’t go away, so learn to grit your teeth and deal with it. Complaining doesn’t do anything but tick other people off, and that’s hardly going to improve your situation.

(I will agree, though, that your complaints are justified. It just doesn’t do any good to dwell and let yourself get so worked up…)

dude, stop **ing, its annoying. but i do have to agree with you on the pointless math classes and the incompetent counselors, boy they * me off.

Smartical, I know that, I just needed to vent. I can’t comment on the OP, though

Bahahahahah you just made my day! Lmao that’s exactly how I feel sometimes, but then again the entire economy is botched, not just schools. But seriously though, when I was reading that, I just couldn’t help laughing lol. Well I’m a junior too, so just think, we only have one year left, and senior year ALWAYS goes by fast! It’ll be over before you know it. Hang in there bud.

Hang in man. These D-bags are a dime a dozen. There will always be more.

I agree with you on the stupid papers thought. I hate how everything in a book has to stand for something, and NOTHING can ever be taken at face value.

Venting is good - just don’t get so caught up in it you can’t see or do anything else. I learned that the hard way…

I don’t think the outside world is as perfect as you think it’s going to be, the grass isn’t always greener. I think it’s a little arrogant of you to complain about such trivial problems like cheap computers or busy work when you have a (presumably) free education and no significant responsibilities.

^agree. you really don’t know how easy you have it in high school until you grow up.

My school is nice. I have many good friends who are intelligent and thoughtful. Ditto for my teachers. I’ll be glad to be done, sure, but not because I hat everybody. Maybe try a sport.
