english is fine...but my teacher....whoa...she liked me a lot tho adn i dont know why....weird

yes, helpmegetin, she wants to rape you.

what is the point of this thread again?

to waste space

the hell of it

-because I needed to make a thread
-HS involves Ingleesh teachers
-Martha told me to

this thread will be deleted/moved to cafe in t minus ____ minutes

muahahahaha

I had a great English teacher last year.. Of course, that still didn't stop me from getting a B (because I can't freaking write, and I don't cram as much or as well as I should).

I had the worst english teacher ever this year. She would tell us that something was an ok way to set up an essay, and then take of major points if we did it that way and tell the class that the essays were good except for that organizational point.

Bleh. Only B in 3 years of high school.

But this thread should not be moved because HS English teachers have more to do with HS life than Death by Cafe.

What other food should I buy for lunch, people...?

mac n cheese... & ???

I do well in English now, I went from ESOL to Standard and then Honors.

i've always had good english teachers. they just assign too much work. i swear, 50% of the total effort i have put into high school can be attributed to english, which is much too much.

I was only in ESOL for a month because of a schedule mistake in summer school. and then I got into Honors in8th grade :). I feel stressed because I need to do Lots of Extracurricular activities for my freshman year. I'm going to try to join a few clubs and do community work. Start Tennis and Lacrosse. Join some competitions. I'm going to the nation Neuroscience Competition. :) I won first in state. Math and other things I must study.

English teachers should die. It's my hardest class by far. I'm great at reading and comprehension and that crap, but my writing is BS.

my english teacher this year (soph.) was awesome. the whole year we only read 4 books and wrote 3 papers. then we just made poetry books that were graded based on how much effort it looked like we put in. not to mention her frequent "mental health days"...aka doing nothing. easiest a+ ever.

^^So jealous...

My last Eng. teacher was an angry, perverted bi***...probably because her husband got sent to jail for cheating on her with a student when he was teaching at my (former) high school...yeah. She gave us 2 projects, 2 tests, and made us read 2 books (Portrait of the Artist and Hedda Gabbler) at the same time for the last 3 weeks of senior year...and made us do 40 pages of study guides for those books. Mmmhmmm, I am so glad to have graduated...she should just retire.

I've had the same English (ok, actually Am. Lit!) teacher the last two years & he is awesome! He's willing to help you with whatever you don't understand & if you need a recomendation for something he'll gladly write it. My other actual English teacher (composition) I HATED her class but she's pretty cool-- very funny. I've only had her a semester but that will change 'cause I'll have her for the rest of high school!! (Jr. College English next yr & then Sr. British Lit)

I agree..

God did make english teachers so they could ruin your life.

english teachers suck at providing help for the future. they only help with whatever project you are doing at the moment.
