Going back for a 2nd bachelors or masters? Psycholgogy to Engineering.

Hello, I am seeking advice about possibly going back to college to pursue an engineering degree. Specifically I would like to pursue the controls and automation side of EE. Since graduating with my bachelors in psychology 6 years ago, I have had a tough time getting into that field. I instead was employed as a technician repairing and installing things from gym equipment and troubleshooting their circuity to building and repairing cars and motorcycles and their computers/electrical systems. I’ve developed a knack and would like to possibly pursue it professionally.

My goal is to take advantage of the future in automation in manufacturing and robot technology. My question is would I be better served employment wise going for a 2nd bachelors in EE or would I be better off getting a masters after completing the required prequesties to enter a program? A major concern is not being taken seriously without a related bachelors and also that most masters programs are not ABET accredited and future licensing could be an issue.

Thanks in advance!
