Hi! I applied to Rutgers NB as a high school junior. I was invited to the Honors College through the School of Arts and Sciences and offered the Trustee Scholarship, worth $13,000 per year. This just about covers in-state tuition and fees but not room and board (I can’t commute if I’m living in the Honors College).
Since I applied, I have decided to stay in high school for senior year and not leave early, so I will be applying to college again next year. I would really like to do what I can to increase my chances of receiving the Presidential Scholarship (covers just about everything) next year, since I think Rutgers would be a really good option for me if I could afford it. My SATs are 2310, GPA about 4.3, with good AP scores (more to come after this year).
Does anyone have an idea of what I should focus on to give myself the best possible shot? Would taking the (new) SAT again be worth it? Will being a senior instead of a junior help me a lot?
Any input is appreciated! Thank you!! I’m happy to look at your threads in return!!!
