Going from studying the JD at a non US university to studying a JD in the USA?

<p>Do universities accept students who have a JD from another country?</p>

<p>Do Universities accept students who want to transfer from their JD program to a US JD program? (The JD is accredited by the ABA)</p>

<p>Call the program coordinator (or whoever) at you prospective US law school.</p>

<p>Why would you want to? It’s not like there are worthwhile opportunities for lawyers in the US right now…</p>

<p>If you get your law degree from another country you can apply for LL.M. Programs at schools here in the US which will allow you to sit the bar exam. It’s generally a one year program.</p>
