Going into nursing but Pomona is my top choice?

Hello everyone!

Pomona College has been my top choice school for a very long time! This is my absolute #1 school. However, I am thinking about becoming a nurse. However, since the Claremont Colleges don’t seem to offer nursing as a major, how would I go about doing this? Would I have to go to a separate nursing school? I’m confused about how this all works. If I am accepted at Pomona, I would major in Chemistry.

Thank you!

I suggest you read up on the Nursing forum. Majoring in Chemistry at Pomona is a costly and inefficient way to become a nurse. For example, read this comment: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/18663973/#Comment_18663973 (especially the last paragraph)
