Going LACs without aid.

Hi guys, lets say I do not require ANY or every little (like 10k a year of aid), will my admission be much easier? Im talking bout schools like Williams, Amherst, Reed, Swarthmore and those ultra selective LACs. Do I still require very good polytechnic results and SATs to get in? How selective are these colleges for students whoe dun require aid?

It will be far easier for you than me.

Its easy to get into selective private schools if you don't require aid?

I wouldn't say its easy.

Easier though.

About the only thing that can be said: When applying to a private school that is need-aware (i.e., the endowment is not large enough to support need-blind admissions), your chances of acceptance are better if you do not request financial aid.

what are some of the prestigious need aware schools?

The only LACs that are said to be need-blind (I never checked up on that) are Williams and Middlebury.
