<p>has anyone gone over the 216 limit? i have courses planned but all the courses I want to take will add up to 230 units or more. Some of these units are not classes, they are internship seminars, so does anyone know how to play this situation?</p>

<p>You fill out a gold schedule contract petition, and a blue contract, where you must show that you will still graduate in 4 years, indicating what courses you will take every quarter from your current quarter until graduation, and the blue one is just how many units you want to exceed and how many you want total. Talk to a counselor to get the forms.</p>
<p>On my petition it says “Provisional Approval”. Can I feel safe going over the limit without getting kicked out if I stick to my plan?</p>
<p>As long as you graduate in 4 years, no one cares.</p>
