Going to a Class at a Different Time

So, i already have my schedule, but i was just wondering that if for the future, if i find a job/internship at a time of a class, if it would be possible to go to the same class at a different time? like say an internship lasts from 4-6pm on tuesdays, but i have math and science during 4-6pm, what should i do?

if it’s the same lecturer you shouldn’t have a problem doing just that. when i had upper div microeconomics my professor would notice people who were in the morning section and would go to afternoon class and vice versa (though the other way was a lot rarer since it was a 9am class, heh)

Well, labs are a bit more complicated. You’d have to get some kind of agreement with someone in another lab section so you would have a spot. For lectures/discussions, you need to make sure there are no regular quizzes beforehand. Certain profs might also have assignments due that must be handed in in-person, so you need to check that too. Finally, you’d have to take the day off of your job/internship if you had a midterm, since they’re during lecture usually.

Overall, its just easier to work around the school schedule imo. Although, you can’t decide future school class schedules once you’re in the internship, and its not like you can get into any class you want, so they’re pretty understanding in that circumstance.
