Going to fail chemistry. Topics that will give the most easy points?

Hi. Due to my own laziness, I do not know Chemistry at all. I have accepted the fact that I am not going to get a 4 or 5. At this point I just want to pass. What topics are the most covered by the exam? What are the essential topics that I should learn?

Thanks.

um…know your acids/bases, and solubity rules…
i’m kinda in the same dillema as you, but not as bad…so any other tips?!

I think stoichiometry is quite easy…
And all the problems where you just have to plug numbers into a formula.
If you remember some solubility rules, you can get some points on reactions.

Umm electron configuration and stuff show up on the MC and shouldn’t be too hard to get?

I dunno…I need to study like crazy next weekend.

yeah…next weekend…cram!!!..

lol. same situation. know your colors! and practice non-calculator math :)

I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve basically guessed my way through the year so far, so I’m pretty screwed for the ap test.
There’s always and equilibrium problem and a net ionic on the free response, so I suppose that may help?
perhaps know some thermodynamics stuff, too. and how to do noncalculator math, lol.

Next weekend’s definately going to be a cram session, I see it in my future :)

Reactions and solubility rules.

Know bonding stuff.

Don’t you worry. I’m in the same situation.

My school is on block, so I haven’t had the class since the beginning of the year.

It’s okay…get a prep book with some review in it, and read the review part. You’ll be fine!
