I am offically going, i signed the form and its going in the mail tomorrow. My question is, is there a housing form i should be sending in right now also? somthing to specify what dorm i would like to live in or will that come later?

that'll come later. you can check for it at http://home.nyu.edu the housing form is due june 3, I think. . .

you can do it online~

im about to fill mine out but cant choose between brittany and hayden ><

i was at home.nyu and clicked on the housing form thing but i guess since i am just sending my accepatance in i have to wait till they get that?

also what is brittney like?

speedy- it took me about 10 days for it to register with them, after i sent it

My daughter sent back the reply that she is enrolling along with the deposits. A letter from NYU came that acknowledged that she is going to be going there in the fall...welcome, all that kind of thing...so we knew that they had received the checks and form. However, her housing form online still would not open (she has an account set up already on NYU). I called housing last week and they said that the admissions office has to contact the housing office to let them know of the checks and THEN housing sends some packet or letter to our house and THEN the form will work online so we have to wait. Ranisparkle, did your form online for housing work before getting some kind of letter/packet from the housing office in snail mail? Hmm, that is what this person said we had to wait for. So, my kid has not picked out the housing yet cause it won't work.

nope i didnt get anything in the mail. dont worry about it though because it took a week(give or take a day or 2) after I sent in my enrollment form, or maybe it was after i got the letter from stern saying they recieved my deposit, anyway after that period the forms opened up.

actually, one day after i could access my online housing forms, i got that letter with all the "welcome, the dates for orientation are blah blah blah"

Dilo and BigRed...that is weird cause that is not what the admissions and housing office told me but no matter...cause today, the letter from the housing office came with directions for the housing online form so I imagine now my daughter will be able to open it up and sign up for her housing preferences. As mentioned, she had received the confirmation from admissions that her deposit and decision was received (and the stuff about orientation dates, blah blah blah) last week or so but still was unable to open the online housing. Hopefully she can now, thanks.

hey..i know im butting into this thread and im sorry, but im a little worried about NYU possibly taking back their offer of admission. I sent in my deposit to CAS, but im worried about poor second semester grades affecting their decision. They only see semester grades...so the lowest one of those will be a C in calculus (use to be a B) and POSSIBLY a C+ in biology...but other than that all B's maybe 1 A....anyways...my question is...how badly do i have to do for them to withrawal their offer of admission. Any thoughts would be appreciated...thanks
Paul
