I am currently in Rutgers Business School (Newark), finished my sophomore year and going into junior year. I decided to switch majors (originally Accounting major and Computer Science minor) and now want to switch to Computer Science major and Accounting minor. Is it easy to make this transition? Because I'm guessing I will no longer be in RBS if I'm only doing a minor for Accounting and having a Computer Science major for NCAS. Do I just submit a delcaration of or change of major/minor form? Semester is starting soon...

Will the advisor from NCAS you linked apply for a business student like me? That’s the thing I’m kind of confused–how closely knit is NCAS and the RBS. I’ll send an email though.

I would either make a phone call or try to set up a face to face meeting. What did the RBS advisor tell you? I assume you will also need to talk to the NCAS advisor as well.

It is a very busy time of year as school is starting and lots of people are calling with questions. Try calling early in the morning, as soon as they open their offices. Have your questions written down and follow up on what they tell you to do.
