Hi,

this might sound a little funny to you, but for me it actually is kind of a big issue:
I need to go to the bathroom quite often. How is this handled during the test? May I leave for the bathroom BETWEEN the sections? I get that time probably is the biggest problem I have during the test, so leaving in between the sections must not cost me any time.

I hope you can enlighten me on that issue!
Thanks a lot.

You get brief breaks, usually after the even numbered sections, but I’d scope out the nearest bathroom before you start the test so you don’t waste time looking.

You may ask the proctor before the test, however, I remember when I took SAT 2, the proctor specifically said before the Math subject that no one must leave the room during test time, so if anyone wanted to go out, they had this last chance to.
Don’t worry, the breaks should be fine, there’s 1 usually after 3 sections for SAT 1 and after each subject for SAT 2.
Just don’t drink water.

you get 3 breaks during the test where you can use the bathroom.

I’d suggest going to a doctor if you can’t make it through the test with 3 breaks… lol
