Going to UB from out of state

Hey guys. I currently live in CA, and starting in August I'm going to start applying to colleges. I've always dreamed of going to school/living in New York. I pretty much have average stats(3.2 GPA, 1830 SAT(1220 M+CR), Plenty of AP/Honors courses, and a few ECs). I would most likely be going for Electrical Engineering and I've heard that UB has a pretty good engineering program(They have even sent me a small information card), which I got in the mail today). My question is, is it worth the money to go here, since I'm OOS? Would getting a job in NY be hard even if I graduate from here? Do I even have a shot since I'm OOS?

UB does have a great engineering program, and I would recommend it if you do get in. You could probably get better value, considering you’re going to be paying more money for being OOS, but you’d need higher grades than what you have currently. You should pretty much be a surefire for UB with those grades.
