right now im a senior in high school, and im possibly going to major in business in college. i want to eventually be a doctor so ill be doing the premed work as well. my question is whether or not it would be ok for me to attend USC as undecided for my major, or should i apply directly for the Marshall business school? and if i do enter undecided, would i be behind for graduating in four years with a business degree or what other disadvantages would i face? thanks!

If you enter undecided and you are admitted to USC, you will be in the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences (CLAS). It is "easier" to be admitted to CLAS than to Marshall. After you have completed the prerequisites at USC, you can transfer/apply to Marshall. You can still graduate in four years if you have planned your schedule accordingly. Here's the info to apply to Marshall if you are already at USC:

thanks for the info cc411. i dont believe that ill have a problem getting into marshall, but what disadvantages are there to applying undecided?

The disadvantage is that if you do want to transfer to business, you have to do well in your prerequisite courses AND go through the application process.
