How is the job placement for emory undergraduate students who come from Goizueta? Also emory does not have a finance minor am I correct?

I’m just an incoming freshman, but a recent graduate told me that he and his friends got jobs more easily from Goizueta compared to people from the college alone because Goizueta prepares you for interviews/recruting, etc.

Well, yeah, normally it is easier to get jobs from a B-School, so that makes sense. Jobs relating to such areas are typically more accessible to undergrads/students w/Bachelors. People in other parts of Emory are likely to get a normal job, do research, and yes, of course, in some cases get a higher end job or internship relating to their major (in terms of recent graduates, there is less incentive for many to get a legit job as a reasonable amount will be going to grad or prof. school immediately after they graduate. I don’t think this trend is as common w/BBAs. A lot work before applying). Also, job placement may be much higher simply because BBA students (especially those eventually that plan to do an MBA) need experience in the form of an internship or job to be competitive (particularly for top programs). Basically, they are more motivated to seek employment (especially in high places).

After I asked this question, I reviewed the site and it seems like the BBA students earn spots in a variety of great companies/firms. I am thinking about transferring to goizueta and this is a huge factor for me… any other input would be great.

Job placement is pretty good. I have many friends within the b-school that. You do well in the b-school and you will be rewarded
