Goizueta Scholars Applicants?

Bump…I’m a finalist as well…and a bit confused about the process.

Bump again…although I doubt too many people know too much about Goizueta scholars because its so new and they take so few. any info would be great though

BUMP  I’m also a finalist, and I’d like to know more about the weekend and the process and all. Are there really only 10 of us? I have virtually no experience with business, so I find it really hard to believe that I’m one of 10 finalists. And I’d love some advice on how to prepare for the weekend, since… I feel pretty undeserving of a business scholarship at this point…

If the things mentioned earlier in this thread are true, about how all 10 finalists get at least 2/3 tuition scholarship… wow. That sounds amazing. I wish they had posted what happened at the Finalists’ Weekend!

(Actually, I got more info on the Goizueta Scholars program, so I don’t feel totally clueless anymore) :] and it looks like no one on here knows much about it anyways! :/

haha well what do you know

So Im not a finalist, but I hope to be next year. Would any one of the finalist mind sharing what they did to become a finalist. I feel I haven’t done anything to earn this scholarship in the future. Did you finalist do anything business related over the summer or during the school year? Any awards? Pretty much what I want to know why do you think your a finalist? My gpa is 3.9/4.25 and i have not yet taken the SAT. Im in many clubs, but nothing business related. I really want to get this award.

Don’t worry about doing anything business related; Goizueta Scholars have just had the highest GPA’s/stats and appllied to this rather than Emory Scholars…(and expressed an interest in business)

when they first started the program, applicants were made to believe that business experience was crucial to the scholarship…hasn’t really turned out that way in practice…it’s all about stats…that’s it…hope that helps!!

PM if you would like clarification…
