Goizueta Scholarship Questions.

Is anyone doing this? If so, I was a little stuck on the essay. It says to "email the essay" to this e-mail address but then it says you can't exceed the limit on the page (which would require you to write it, although it says they allow it to be typed). About how long are you guys making your essay (word wise)? Any recommendations?

Also, it says that you have to send the application itself through the email. So, we are supposed to fill it out on paper, scan it and send it as an attachment or what?

Thanks in advance.

Each institution probably has their own requirements but, at my university, the Goizueta Scholarship essay and application can be typed or handwritten. They can be emailed, faxed or send via regular mail. The essay should not exceed one page. For example, using Times New Roman size 10, about 550-600 words will fit. The main thing is to answer the question being asked. I hope this helps.

when do we find out about the goizueta scholarship and the honors program?

I suspect you will find about about the Goizueta Scholarship at the same time you get your financial aid offer(Aprilish). You can contact admissions for further information.

As for Honors, I received my invitation to Honors in December and accepted at that time.

However they officially state the following:
“The Honors Program sends letters of invitation to students selected for the program on a rolling basis, beginning in March and continuing through early June. A substantial number of the invitations typically come after May 1, the deadline for students admitted to Georgia Tech to indicate their intention to matriculate.”

Best of Luck!

You have to apply for Goizueta.
