If a student gets provisionally admitted, does that mean that the golden four classes were already verified by the university? Has anyone ever had their a admission taken away because the golden four classes didn’t match?
Provisional admission means that you are admitted based on your self-reported application information. If you incorrectly reported a “golden four” course, then once your final transcripts are reviewed, your admission could be rescinded if the course(s) do not meet the admission standards.
If you are a transfer, did you not review and confirm your courses through your CC and transfer advisor before applying? Did you check assist.org to make sure they are CSU transferable and fulfill the Golden four course requirements?
My counselor said that it was equivalent. I went to another uni before cc and I took English composition at the uni. When I went to cc i went ahead and took eng102 and eng103 which both require eng100 (english composition) and the fact that they let me through would also imply that I completed that prereq.
You can always double check with your Cal state to confirm but if you listed the class on your CSU application and you have been admitted, then the CSU accepted that class. No reason not to send an email inquiry for piece of mind.
