Damnit! None of the ivies, no MIT, and no UChicago are ranked in top 50...

Cheers!!!

Hahahaha.... golf.....

Eh, Duke, Northwestern, and Vandy were on the list.

I'm amazed at the number of Big 10 schools.

IMO, Big 10 is the best sport conference in the nation, by far. Feel sorry that UChicago got out of big 10.

Who is the 2nd best? SEC or Big 12, Big east, or Pac 10?

Not Ivy , though.

Duke should be top 15. This ranking is pretty BS. I guess its forward looking - check out the ACC tournament, ranking Clemson and FSU so much higher is a travesty.

why wud mit and uchicago have good golf teams- if i go to mit in fall '08 i'm considering trying out for their football team-even though i havent played since junior high

Powerhouse golf school list:

Stanford – Tiger Woods*
ASU – Phil Mickelson, Paul Casey
NW – Luke Donald
UCLA – Duffy Waldorf, Tom Pernice, Corey Pavin
Oklahoma State – Bo Van Pelt, Bob Tway*
University of Arkansas: John Daly*
LSU – David Toms*

*Major Winner

That must be old.

Stanford just won the national title few weeks ago!

The next great American golfer is likely to be Anthony Kim (Oklahoma).

As the youngest player in the PGA, he has already earned more than $1.3 million thus far this season.

perhaps a certain person will chime in with the Revealed Preferences of ncaa golf fans. :D

Anthony Kim can be great if he plays his best game. But he is not stable - like six under par on Friday, 5 over par on Saturday. Let's see how he develops himself in the course.

Add two other great golfers:

Jim Furyk: University of Arizona
Chris DiMarco: Universify of Florida

Duke has a great men's tradition and perhaps the best women's golf program.
