Gone all of spring break... 5 APs

Hey guys. I'm a sophomore and I have 5 AP exams to take in May. (Human Geo, Physics B, Calc AB, US Gov, and Lang). My family is planning a trip to go to Europe during spring break (the last week of March). They want to leave the Friday (last day of school), which would be an overnight flight. Then they want to come back the next Sunday, which leaves the one Monday for me to rest and do homework (since we have no school on that Monday).

I highly doubt I'll get any work done on the trip. I really want to go though because I've never been to Europe, and if we don't go spring break, I don't know when else we can. But I'm super worried about being away in the time period. I could use the time to start studying for my AP exams, but is that too early? I know my teachers review for two weeks or so before the exam, but... I don't know. I'm super worried about Physics B and Calc AB, but more for Physics. Yet I really want to go on this trip!

Please help me decide what to do! (My parents are letting me make this decision).

Guys what should i do?!

First, chill out. Second, go on the trip and enjoy yourself. You’ll have plenty of time to stress about APs when you get back and the break will be nice.

Are you serious?
APs are in MAY.
You don’t want to go on a vacation in the middle of MARCH.

You should go on vacation. Bring a study book for the flight if you want. You’d be amazed how much free time (car rides, hotel downtime, etc) you’ll find where you can skim some chapters. But really, this shouldn’t affect you at all. Start studying over Christmas break to make up for it if you’re worried.

Not an issue. Don’t worry about studying during Spring Break. Just make up for it over Winter Break.

There isn’t much studying you can do for Lang. Human Geography can literally be learned in the two nights before the test for an easy 5.

Gov is supposedly easy.

Remember that you’re a person, not a machine. Go enjoy yourself :-)

Lang: Just do your homework in English class. If you’re having trouble getting used to the MC, just take a couple of sheets with you. You won’t have to do them on your trip.

Human Geo: …why are you worrying about this?

Calc AB: Cumulative, so don’t worry about. Similar to English, but perhaps if you want to review more, you can, but it won’t be that much studying.

Physics B: Put most time into this, but at any rate you won’t need to study on your spring break. If you like you can start casually going through prepbooks in February, to make up for the lost break.

Gov: …chill, dude. The AP scorers mark you down if you’re not chill enough.

First, congrats on being a sophomore and taking all those AP classes!
Second: Go on vacation and enjoy yourself. Bring some study books if you want. emeraldEvi is right; even on vacation you somehow always end up having free time in the least likely of places. If you’re still nervous start studying the week before you leave or as soon as you come home.

Do your homework regularly for those classes

Review your work regularly e.g. on every weekend

Ask your teachers for help if you have any queries

Use your spring break to rest and recharge for the remainder of the school year. Don’t bring along any revision materials, at most one or two.

Go over your work the week you come back to check what you’ve forgotten/missed out.

Do well on those AP exams!

Good luck and hope this helped!

Experiences like going to Europe are one in a life time. Cherish that rather than spending all your time worrying about school. When you look back on this later in life you won’t care what you got on your ap tests, you will remember your trip to Europe.
