Hey so I shortened this so people could actually read it through this time. Sorry about that. Also, I have a question. I have already taken the SAT, but didn't do as well on it as I should have. Should I take it again even with the ACT score I have? Thanks for all responses!!!

Mmm, I disagree with Calcruzer's predictions for HPME and PLME. Your researching and volunteering track record is super impressive but I wouldn't call HPME or PLME anything less than a "reach," let alone a "match," for anyone. That said, you're one of the strongest candidates possible for these programs, so don't think I'm saying you're not gonna get in -- just, NO ONE can count on these things.

For your safeties, why don't you look at slightly less selective but still highly-ranked accelerated med programs? BU, GW, Drexel, and Penn State all have seven or eight year programs (one of them, I can't recall which, actually has a six year one, but that sounds intense.)

Your GPA seems low-ish at first glance, but since your school is so rigorous, it's probably fine. It depends on where you fall in your class -- does your school rank?

Regarding the SAT... I think most people will agree that you don't need to retake it. Sure, the schools will "see" the less-than-impressive SAT, but they'll only "consider" the ACT. Whatever that means. I'm willing to accept it. shrugs

I'm sure you'll get into some really good schools and programs. You've got an impressive record and lots of great options!

you gotta chance me as well.
WUSTL - Reach
University of Louisiville - Safety
UK - Safety
HYP - reach for everyone
IU Bloomington - Safety
UChicago - Low reach (UChicago puts huge weight on the essay)
Vandy - High match

I think you have a great shot at all of these schools. However, you should realize that HPME and PLME are on the same caliber of selectivity if not even higher than HYP. Those are obviously reaches, but you can still be admitted into Northwestern and Brown, even if rejected from their combined programs. I'd say you have a great shot at those schools in this regard.
