Good 7 Year Med Programs

What are the best 7 year undergrad/med programs and what does it take to get into them?

um, the only one i know of is HPME at Northwestern U cause i live in the chicago suburbs. you have to be amazing to get in i think. they're really selective.

Brown, NU, and I think Johns Hopkins, but don't hold me to that.

no, johns hopkins doesn't have one anymore. I think they used to a looong time ago.

Here's a thread that has a list:

also check out the Pre-Med and Medical School section of CC

Yeah, I think a lot of schools have betting cutting the programs over the last decade.

I know Michigan dropped its program several years ago when the ungodly suicide rate of the interflex kids was published alongside how much money the program was draining.

I know UCSD has one but they are asking a minimum of 34 ACT

yeah, but ucsd's program is not accelerated; its an eight year program.

I think both Boston U and George Washington U have BA/MD programs.

Boston U and UCRiverside.

RIce/Baylor has one too

I think UIC (University of Illinois at chicago) has one. Supposed to be pretty good.

these things are so hard to get into. minimum 34 on ACT

My friend got into a .. get this.. a 6 year guaranteed program at PSU. You should definately check that out. 6 years!!

Rutgers - New Brunswick has one. As to whether it's good, shrug.

rice-baylor is 8 years. but it's awesome.
