Good Academics and Partying??

Hey im just wondering are there any schools that are are good academically and also have a good party scene? (ie. University of Miami)

I guess it depends on what you define as “good” academically. UPenn is the social Ivy. Michigan State U is a super party school and you’ll be getting a good education (even more so if you get into the Honors College).

UW-Madison is the school I most often hear described like this, though there are plenty of other schools with a “work hard, party hard” mentality.

For super-good schools, I always hear Dartmouth and Vanderbilt mentioned. Stanford and UCLA too.

UMich, UT-Austin, U Wisconsin-Madison

Any Big 10 school besides NW

I would say that the “best” academic schools that also are among the top in partying include Dartmouth, UVA, Vanderbilt, Washington and Lee, and Stanford. People say that Penn is the social Ivy, but I honestly feel that Dartmouth parties more. I dont go to either though.

On a slightly lower academic level, some of the Big 10 schools and Wake Forest would be included.

Duke University

Cornell University! We drink like a state school, and study just as much!

Tulane and Miami

Miami of Ohio.
