Good ACT, great class load, not great GPA..chances?

So Sophomore year, I had some issues at home that ended up with me getting all C's and 1 D at school. This brought down my GPA A LOT. I brought it up some this year, took summer school, and my counselor said we can send out my scores from 1st semester of senior year, but I'm still worried. I have a few solid schools on my list, but mostly they are all reaches - I know this. I'm looking to major in Bio, and I don't mind recommendations at all, they are WELCOME! Thank you SO MUCH!!
