Good ACT scores

This is how I see it:

36-35 Excellent Score

32-34 Great Score

30-31- Good Score For Selective Colleges

28-29- Good Score, Low end for Selectives

25-27- Okay Score, Good for most state schools and lower tier privates

20-24- Decent Score

19 and Below- Not So Hot

Would you guys agree, based on top schools?

hmmm... the highest average act score is 33.5 (cal tech), but if you are evaluating it on an ivy-league basis, then that would be correct...

for a normal, top 25-50 school perspective, here is what i would say...

33-36: Excellent
31-32: Very Competitive
28-30: Competitive/Within Range
25-27: Decent/Could Improve
23-25: Out of Range, Need to Improve
<23: Very Small Chance

now if you get a 33 composite with a ~24 reading/science. Does that pull you down or does the 33 composite kinda offset the 24?

hey that actually works out. three 36s and a 24 gives you a 33 composite. coool

36: Acceptable
4-35: Fail

LOl @ i likefood. That's pretty rigorous standards.
