<p>What's a good amount of classes to take? 19 credits (5 classes, two labs) vs. 16 credits (4 classes, 1 lab)?</p>
<p>16 credits (4 classes, 1 lab) sounds a loooot better to me. That’s usually the average, anyways.</p>
<p>Depends on the 5 classes you plan to take. Personally for me, I took 4 classes and 2 labs during my sophomore year. I started off with taking 5 classes and 2 labs, but dropped one of those classes by the second week of the semester because I realized I couldn’t handle it.</p>

<p>I can take 4 classes and two labs, but one of the labs aren’t required for me to take… which leads me to another question. Should I take the lab, even if it’s not required? One part of me wants to take this lab because I kinda like the subject, but I’m afraid it’ll be bad for my grade if I don’t do as well as expected.</p>
<p>The less time you spend there, the less money you spend there, and the sooner you get money. Take all you can as quickly as possible.</p>
