good arch schools in Boston

ok sorry about this, but i would like as many possibilities as i can and i think that Boston is a great city, so any good arch schools in Boston thanks?

i am applying to northeastern, and i heard of some names like Wentworth i think and Boston architectural college, of course there's MIT and Harvard, but that's aiming too high for me

if my SAT scores mean anything:
W: 680
CR: 610
M: 760

ok thank you all sooo much

What happened, you didn’t like our Philadelphia recommendations? ;)

well MIT and Harvard aren’t known for their undergraduate architecture programs. I think Wentworth would be a good fit - with all the scholarships they give I would have paid about 5K a year and that is with a couple of the scholarships. They give a good amount and it doesn’t cost all that much.

Boston Architectural College is a great school by the rankings, but there are some weird things with it. I think they work on an internship during the day and classes by night in their 3rd and 4th years or something, but I am not positive.

Harvard doesn’t have an undergraduate arch program -only arch. history. I believe this is also true with MIT, but I could be wrong.

haha naw ur philly recommendations were great!! thanks a lot

my mom wanted some place closer to home (CT) yea even philly was too far haha
and like i said, boston’s a great city too

so does anyone know how wentworth is?? or any other schools in boston?

wentworth will give a quality education for low money and MIT does have an BS or BA in architecture

Ah, whenever I see ‘undergraduate arch. programs’, I automatically associate this with B.Arch programs, not ‘arch studies’ programs

I am currently a freshman at Wentworth and let me tell you that if you want a top notch arch school Boston…go with Wentworth. We are only $35,000 per year, we have a top notch CO-OP program (when you take off a semster to work for a company) and the school is well known in the industry. However I will warn you that this school is not pinic and you will be challanged. But once you graduate, expect to get PAID!!! PM if you have any other questions.

Actually, MIT’s undergrad degree is a BS in Art and Design in the School of Architecture. It is not in Arch Studies, though it is also not a BArch. You can opt to focus on Arch Design. It offers quite a bit more than Harvard for undergrad in this field and they are not comparable programs.
