Good architecture schools

<p>Hey everyone! My friend wants to know where there are good architecture schools? Which UCs have a strong department in that area...I've heard Berkeley does.......do you guys have any suggestions?</p>

Erin’s Dad has given you one arch school ranking, but there are others, all with their own biases and caveats. A ‘good’ arch school for you will depend on whether you want a 5 yr BArch degree or a 4 yr BA or BS in arch studies and then go on for a MArch. There are several different educational paths to becoming an architect. I advise you go to the Architecture sub-forum and run some searches as this question is asked frequently. After you’ve done that, if you have further questions, that would be the place to ask them. Good luck!</p>
