I am having a dilemma, I excel in history, sciences, English, and languages. Although when it comes to math I have a hard time understanding the concepts. I have come to the conclusion that I can not study math the way I study the rest of my classes. Someone, please help me! How can I study math? Can someone give me a study plan? I study so hard for math just to get a C it is really annoying. What am I doing wrong? I repeat the same problems over and over again, I have never gotten an A on a math test. I want to be good at math. Math is the only subject holding me back, I get an A in every class except math. I have yet to find a solution to my problem with math.
Often a good tutor can make a big difference.
What kind of math are we talking here?
I was never able to find a solution for myself for that problem, either, primarily because I refused to accept the use of a tutor. I WAS a tutor in other subjects, so admitting I could have used one for math was humiliating to me. I did very well in every other subject (exept physics, which is very mathy). I attended a college that accepted CLEP credits so I studied really hard for the CLEP test and managed to test out of my college math requirements. Sometimes, though, I wish I had accepted the tutor. Maybe you should try going that route and see if it helps.
